• Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 per annum

Cairndene are looking for a graduate software developer to join our software development team. The successful candidate will join our experienced team and help design, build and deploy software solutions for the Oil and Gas industry. He/she will be engaged in the full project life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and production rollout/support, and will be involved in key relationships with technical colleagues, business sponsors and other stakeholders..

We are looking for proactive and self-motivated junior developer with a positive attitude and excellent technical, team-working, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.

Essential

• Knowledge of Java, C# or similar 3rd generation programming language
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Analysis
• Web development using Javascript, JQuery and HTML
• Usage of version control such as GIT or Subversion

Desirable

• RDBMS skills, including database design and structured query language

Education

• Degree or equivalent in a scientific, computing or other quantitative subject preferred.
